Lumin 8 All Purpose Soap

The One Shampoo for Everything Lumin8 Liquids All Purpose Soap is a user-friendly, highly lubricating, and eco-conscious shampoo for decontamination and aftercare. It contains NO WAX, Petroleum Distillates, Alcohol, or protective additives. Engineered with a pH of ~7.75 and a dilution ratio of 1:256, it’s safe for waxed or paint-sealant-protected vehicles, yet aggressive enough to serve as a touchless maintenance wash solution for professional-grade coatings and films. This maintenance shampoo is designed to CLEAN and let protective coatings and films operate at peak efficiency. It’s also great as a decontamination or maintenance soap. It is completely safe to use on paint protection film, paint protection coatings, ceramics, vinyl wraps, matte-finish paint, waxes & paint sealants, carbon fiber, all wheel types, glass, plastic, and gelcoat.

It allows you to sell 1 product that is effective as a routine maintenance soap for all vehicles, whether they have no protection, ceramic spray wax, nano ceramic coatings, PPF (film, spray, or liquid), vinyl, or paint protection coatings. They can also use it to wash their commercial equipment, RVs, trailers, watercraft (not FULL ECO RELEASE in marinas, though), and off-road toys. 

How do you use it? Our All-Purpose Soap has been formulated to be used in three ways: Traditional Bucket Wash This is the wash method used by most DIY enthusiasts and owners of vehicles, watercraft, and off-road equipment. Add ½ oz per gallon of water for bucket contact washing. Or – the exact 1:256 dilution. 

Hybrid Foam Cannon – Wash Mitt This is an exceptional time-saving maintenance wash for both professionals and direct consumers with a pressure washer. In a 32oz foam cannon, add 2oz of All Purpose Soap after adding 30oz of room temperature water (1:128 ratio). Pre-rinse the vehicle to remove standing debris, then foam onto the entire vehicle. Using two wash mitts – or 4 microfiber wash towels, proceed with your contact wash, one side at a time. Use a fresh wash mitt for each side of the vehicle, then rinse off completely. 

Non-Contact Wash The non-contact wash is the best way to maintain the vehicle every few weeks. Compatible with both foam cannons and foam guns, begin by pre-rinsing the vehicle to remove all standing debris. Prepare the foam cannon or foam gun cannister by adding 4oz of room-temperature water per 32oz of container (1:64 ratio). Continue by washing your wheels and tires FIRST – using dedicated washing media – and Lumin8 Liquids Multiple Purpose Cleaner Spray (or your favorite wheel and tire cleaner). Once the wheels and tires are clean, foam the entire vehicle – make multiple passes to ensure even coverage and reduce premature drying. Let the foam dwell for 3 to 5 minutes (indoors or low surface temperatures) or 3 minutes in direct sunlight. Rinse off, then dry.
